 This week we have been talking about our emotions. We learned about the Characters in the story inside out Joy, Worry, Anger, Disgust, Sadness. We invented our own new character and Ely chose  Bravery, click the link to see the great drawing he created to show what bravery means to him.  What emotion would you add to the list characters.  

  

Today in Cybersmart we learned how to remove backgrounds from images and add new backgrounds gorm our favorite places in Christchurch and then the world. Can you guess where my favorite place is? Where is your favorite place in your town? by franicis 

 

Today we were learning about the environment and how the things we can do to look after our school and the local community.  E te Ariki... Whakarongo mai rā ki a mātou. We went for a walk around our school grounds and gathered up the rubbish. We then looked at all the new flowers that had bloomed as our seasons changed from winter to spring. We used these to create a rainbow to show all the colours in our environment.

 

 During her maths session today Jaylin created this tower. She knows that 15 groups of 10 is 150. She created this tower to show her understanding. Tino Pai Jaylin

 

  David's Dads Day Tasks  David showed excellence in the completion o his tasks. He created some wonderful things on this slide to share with his Dad.   Today Jaylin made this fabulous bird feeder. She has made a really big opening in it so they can sit in a shelter when they are eating the food. You have put lots o thought into your design Jaylin, Tino pai.  Have you ever made a bird feeder?
