The Tokyo Olympics 2020

 This term Room 3 has enjoyed learning about the Olympics. In maths we have created medal tables. In reading learnt about the history of the Olympics. In PE we are learning about Athletics and will host our own Junior School Mini Olympics. In writing we have been researching athletes and creating biographies about them. For Religous Education we compared our School C.E.R.R  values to the Olympic values of Friendship, Excellence and Resepct. For art we have also used our design skills to create new mascots and medals. We had to imagine that the Olympics was going to be held in Hei Hei Christchurch where we live. The medal needed to reflect our culture, and heritage. The one shown in the picture has Samoan art deisgns on the strap and the
